Smart Defrag 2 newest version install problem

Windows 7 HP x64; IObit ASC Pro Ultimate;

Downloaded, from MajorGeeks, the newest version of IObit's Smart Defrag 2.

Used IObit's Uninstaller + Advanced Menu to uninstall the old version.

Attempted to install, three times, the new version.

Always got error message 183 telling me it can not change the name of an existing folder because it is being used by a program.:cry

Tried to "delete" the existing folder for Smart Defrag 2. It won't let me 'cause it's being used...yatta yatta....

I tried to find a way to "turn off" ASC Pro Ultimate. It isn't evident to me how to do this 'cause the ASC Pro Ultimate is pretty all-inclusive in nature.

Any ideas, Guys? Thanks!

 

The defrag files are probably being used by ASC, because the defrag is included it the whole package of ASC. It they are not causing a problem, I would leave them alone.

 

Indeed, Sir! However, this description does not solve my inability to install the newest version. According to ASC Pro Ultimate, IObit's Smart Defrag 2 does not exist on my computer!?! Additional ideas? thanks, again.
