Smart Defrag

I attempted to download the newest free update for Smart Defrag but my Norton Antivirus deems it unsafe and keeps removing it. I could use some input on solving this issue.

 

Some antivirus programs are detecting IObit software is pup's and quarantine's the files hence removes the program. You need to either whitelist or click to restore and exclude so it won't be picked up again.

 

Since Windows 7, MS takes care of defragging non-ssd drives. You don't need a 3rd party tool to do this.

This is my Windows 7 PC purchased in 2009. I have never defragged the hard drive.


As you can see, it is defragged weekly on a Wednesday.
