{smartassembly} License Exception

When I turned my PC on this morning, I got this message:

It pops up every time I reboot. I am not a programmer or anything like that, so I don't need smartassembly. What I can't figure out is how to remove it from my system. It's not listed in Add/Remove Programs.

I am using Windows XP Pro v5.1.2600. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

Same thing. Upon reboot, this window pops up 4 times. I have to close them all the same time. Just started this month. Could be spyware/virus...I use Utorrent. I think I got infected there. What about you tripwire?

 

Yeah, I also use uTorrent... I scanned with AVG and found 3 rootkits. But that's about it. It won't go away. :/

 

Figured it out, its a smit-fraud... spybot 1.62 will set you straight tho...just be careful where you download spybot from...

Yeah, but what else might be on the machine? Think future Prevention, not reaction.
