smil to vob or avi

If I understand it correctly a SMIL file is simply a command file (kind of like html) that tells SMIL players what to do with other files. Thus SMIL files orchestrate other things.

The SMIL files I am working with play mp3 files with png files in a presentation format.

Somehow I want to convert the whole SMIL orchestration to VOB and AVI that they may be put on DVD and uploaded to Veoh.

Any ideas?

 

SMIL is a "markup language" similar in some ways to HTML.
