SMTP Servers

Here is my problem I travel a lot with my laptop and I am tired of having to always change my outgoing mail server. Does anyone know of any software that I could use that it would detect what server I need to use in a different location?

Uhm why would you change smtp server? Do you have that many exchange servers to visit? how many networks do you use?

Why just not use webmail account?

 

this is more for my own use...not for work....so I am not on an exchange server.
I am from 3 to 4 differnt servers depending on where I am at(my appartmet, parents house, inlaws, some other friends,....).
I am using a Gmail accoung but I am using it through Outlook.
Now I have tried to use the gmail smtp server but for some reason I have problems with this even if I set it up the way it is to be setup....
I am not sure if the providers are blocking this (seems strange to me) or if gmail smtp server does just not work very well.
I have posted two or three times on their forum but have yet to get a straight answer on that.

So in short I thought I saw a program a while back that would let me use multiple outgoing servers without having to change this manualy everytime.

wich servers are you swapping when you place your laptop somewhere else to receive the same mail??? i dont really get it
