SN68SG2 xpc tools not functioning

I've had the Shuttle Glamor SN68SG2 for 4 years. At one time the XPC tools program worked very nicely, most importantly it let me set a profile for the "Smart" fan attached tothe ICE CPU coller.

I had to reinstall Windows XP and after getting everything back up and running, I now find that the version 1.7 of XPC tools isn't working as before.
It isn't showing the Smart fan rpm or allowing me to setup a profile.

I've tried to find older version, but no luck.

Anyone got any ideas about how to get XPC tools to work correctly again?

No, I won't upgrade to Windows Vista or 7. I might upgrade to 8 in a year or so. Why? I've spent over 30 years working on various software products and IMHO, Microsoft Windows is mediocre software...at best. I'm just too lazy to move to Linux.
