Snail Slow Computer

Hello,
Your team recently helped me remove a nasty malaware from my MSN... Everything on that end is now working fine
However, my computer has become VERY slow!!! I am not sure if this is a hardware problem or malaware? I still have all the downloads you suggested for logs but wasn't sure you needed them again

I haven't read the other thread yet but this is what I do too speed up lazy computers that need a good kicking...

Some of these programs give you a 30 day free trial but are good to clean up your computer just that one time.

Windows Disk Cleanup *My computer - Right click C:/ and properties - Disk Clean up*

RegDefrag *you can get from Major geeks Downloads*

Perfect Disc Defrag 8 * from major geeks downloads* (this will defrag your system files on a boot up as well as defrag your hard drive thoroughly)

Windows manual Update *Start menu - Windows update* or *Start menu - Programs - windows update* (if update does not work, check your Bits service is working) Download all the windows updates and any hardware and software updates you need. make sure you get .net framework 1.1 and .net framework 2.0 if available...

If you are a gamer make sure you get the latest DirectX 9.0c this will boost performance with graphics

Delete all unnecessary files (Temp folders and cookies)

Simple:
Try to uninstall the last five programs you have installed one at a time and see what happnes then make Windows defrag and scan disk and everything should be okay and comeback to the origin
