sneaky cookies?

    I was doing a search for cookies and I got a list of cookie.dat files. Should I get rid of them. I had already got rid of cookies using the usual method. Are these dat files the same thing. Sorry for my ignorance, but I thought a cookie was cookie by any name. I use Opera and I use widgest. The cookies are in the opera widget folder. Any advice? :eek:
