So far.....

..the boys have......

1. Lived in the swimming pool......they are having fun adjusting to the heat
2. Discovered Baskin & Robbins...that was fun! Half an hour to decide which flavor!
3. Been to the movies and watched Longest Yard...so funny! Go see it. My youngest ordered a large popcorn...I forgot to warn him 'large' in the US means HUGE
4. Met all their american siblings, grandparents etc
5. Been to a baseball game...my eldest loves it
6. Discovered Arby's beef and cheese melts...yummmmmm
7. Fallen in love with pop @ 45c per can!!!
8. Found out how big a REAL mall is
9. Visited the Duck shop and bought new baseball caps....well......I couldn't let them walk out the house with their Yankee caps on anymore...they wouldn't survive 5 minutes!

Hehe...having fun and Mom is smiling lots. See you guys soon...take care *hugs*

What an awesome weekend!!

Went on the company BBQ on Friday, which was really cool and tons of food. In the evenking took the boys to the local fair and they had such a blast, nearly making themselves sick on all teh rides after the BBQ earlier LOL. Hubby and I sloped off to the arena and found Dave Lee Roth playing. Now don't get me wrong....I am a huge rock fan...always have been...and love Van Halen, but the guy has seriously lost his touch, not only with music, but with how to be a performer and relate it to the audience at the time. The further we got away the better it sounded Glad we didn't pay

Saturday was the church BBQ. Man , I'm getting fat! More awesome and plentiful grub! Then we went back home and BOOM!!! The family had been up to their tricks......a suprise birthday party for me The house was just so full of people (and more food!). My husband bought me my first 30-06 so now I'm ready for those elk come Fall

Sunday......our daughter and son-in-law invited us over for spaghetti (yummmmmm) and I thrashed everyone at pool Hehe...I may be getting fat after this weekend but I can still lean over the pool table!! My back is feeling better after the summersualt in the zuchinni patch. Wish I could say the same for the zuchinni.

I went to football match and saw my grandparents, I think you got the better deal

 

LOL....heading out of town to the coast for a couple of days today, and then when we get back heading straight out to the mountains for a few days camping, so won't be on here much until next week.

Btw, the boys are loving it. My eldest wants to come out for longer next summer, but he also wants to come out again BEFORE next summer. I'm so happy...........yessssssssssssss!!

We hit the coast for a few days last week which the boys really enjoyed. Huge waves, huge dunes, awesome seafood and ice cream. Visited the sea lion caves and hung out with the big critters for a while.

Last weekend we headed off into the mountains camping. My boys have grown up camping since birth, but nothing like the american style. They thoroughly loved it! They went scanning for good elk hunting ground with our son-in-law who bow hunts, and did plenty off fishing from the bank and in a drift boat. They swam, rowed around in the pontoon boat...you name it , they did it, and the mountains were just breathtaking to them. Excellent weekend

 

Hey don't forget me, I've never been to the states!!!

@ Halo....yeah, it has been such a blast. Gonna be hard to let them go back, but they are like homing pigeons When you coming back to visit?
