Yes I see I haven't included a monitor, I'll find some cheapo used one from a pawn shop or something to use >_>

 

looks ok woulda gone with another brand of video card but thats just personal opinion . dont like xfx

 

I wouldn't get a Maxtor HDD either... I'd personally go with Western Digital or possibly Seagate.

They are two of the best brands I've ever had.

 

I have a Maxtor drive is a 4 GB drive and still works... I think everyone has had a bad experience with some brand or another. I personally think WD = head and noise.

Can't go wrong with AMD.
Love mine, have had it for 2years (Barton 2500).
Damn good stuff for a lot cheaper than the big brand Intel (where you're paying a lot for the name).

 

I would've gotten a set of G.Skill over that ram, better performers and good warrenty. PSU looks generic, maybe an Asus board over DFI because dfi is basically to oc.

 

Value Select is pretty good RAM.

For hard drive, I would get a Maxtor DiamondMax 10 with 16MB cache instead of 8MB.

As far as motherboard, I would prefer an ASUS A8N SLI Premium, or if you can't find that, then the Deluxe.

For power supply, try to go for a brand name like Antec or ThemalTake etc.

The worst thing you can do is to use a cheap PSU.

For DVD burner, I would go for a Pioneer or LG as they also support DVD RAM.
