So many good things all at once!

I'm not going into the whole "my life has sucked for a year" saga, because in the last three weeks EVERYTHING has started falling into my lap!

First, my unemployment finally got approved, so I have at least a minimal income.

Second, I found out that through a payroll glitch I had a HUGE contribution to my health insurance (it should have gone in last fall), which means I'll have insurance for the third quarter because I now have enough in my bank to pay the premium.

Third, I found out that not only does my insurance not care if you have a pre-existing condition, they don't require a referral for an orthopedic surgeon. This means I already have an appointment to see one as soon as my insurance kicks in, and I'll be able to get my knee fixed from the injury last November that's had me off work.

Fourth, my jewelry business is on the verge of seriously taking off. I have over 200 pieces made, and my displays are supposed to arrive this week.

Fifth (I know, right?!), my best friend called and told me that since it's been four years since I've been to Tahoe to visit her, she discussed it with her husband and he's booking me a flight with his frequent flier miles. I'll be there in about a month for a week.

I think I should buy a lottery ticket. :-D

Yup...Northern California/Nevada (right where Nevada makes the sharp corner, if that helps any). They've lived there since 1999, and I used to visit once a year. Finances being what they are, it hasn't happened in a while.

I'm so darn excited if I could walk I would go run around the block to blow off some energy! :-D LOL

Thank you, everyone!! I'm like a little kid at Christmas right now...attention span of a gnat, and can't settle on what I want to be excited about for more than ten minutes. Right now it's the jewelry thing. My displays came UPS today, and they are FABULOUS! LOL I bought the low end because I'm not actually a jewelry store, but I'm all set for my first craft show outing on Labor Day.

I'm obnoxious, but I'm going to post pictures because I can. LOL

The best part is the earring cards fit over the top of the necklace boards, so I can display the pieces that go together...well, together. :lol: I've got wicker baskets where I'll keep similar pieces to those on display.
