So much to do

Well people it's another hot one out there. Seems that the hotter the days get, the more stuff there is that needs to get done. Also means that pollen is out and asthma is getting worse.

My plans for today, is finish weeding my flower beds, do a little exercise in the shade, relocate my torches, do a little more plumbing, clean out my shed, and finally settle in with my books (see where all the money goes). Seems my books are a bit of a mess. I think it's cause I have been on puter a little too much.

Well, I had better get shaking. When I get some of my work caught up, I'll take a few minutes to pop in.

I going to relax today, while my wife does laundry, and cleans up the whole house.


Oh, wait,, I don't have a wife. Guess I'll just have to do it myself.

 

Well if you expect her to do your laundry and clean your house that's why!

Put another log on the fire.
Cook me up some bacon and some beans.
And go out to the car and change the tyre.
Wash my socks and sew my old blue jeans.
Come on, baby, you can fill my pipe,
And then go fetch my slippers.
And boil me up another pot of tea.
Then put another log on the fire, babe,
And come and tell me why you're leaving me.

Now don't I let you wash the car on Sunday?

Your not alone. Add to that, looking after others, running busines etc., not a lot of time to spare.

Well I almost feel for you guys, but don't be so cheap and hire a cleaning lady. What's the price now...$6.00 per hour? You only need her for a couple hours a week. BTW, keep your hands off or she will sue you.

I AM the cleaning lady!! And cook, taxi driver, free technician/tradesman; gardener; councillor; free bank; protector etc, etc. And it cost me a bundle for the 'privilege'. Yeah, I know, my choice - it's called "duty of care". Ah well, such is life.

Re:- "Hands off":- Some of us guys end up having to say "hands off" too, ya know.

Phantom, sounds like you could be quite the ladies man. Your just going to have to stop looking so irresistible.

 

I had to leave a Chrismas Party early last year, 'cos I kept gittin' my butt tweaked and other stuff ( ). When a few of the guests kept 'forgetting' their swimsuits @ 2:00a.m. in the morning, I was getting funny looks and heard little plots - so I got the Hell otta there!, LoL.

(I would have stayed - But it waz getting late - ....and I was kinda skeered! )

Hmm, tweaking a guys butt. Now that is something I haven't done in a long time.

Well I'm all for tweaking computers and such. But my personal 'software' remains off-limits. Guess I didn't mind that much in itself - but I was waring a few drinks and hour’D'oeuvres by the nights end. I got real jumpy!

I usually say "Do not touch what you cannot afford" in my best Schwarzenegger voice. They just laff and do it more. ( So much for my authoritive voice!, LoL!)



Hey!, maybe I can take a hike into this great Aussie outback I keep hearing about.




....On 2nd thoughts:- Heat, desert, sand, flies, prickles, everything poisonous....perhaps not.
