   I posted this issue on the software forum and was pointed in this direction for help.
   
   This toshiba laptop takes over 7 mins to boot up. Is it just the norton stuff or is it something else. Please help as this is so frustrating
   
   bit defender found nothing

   Aside from the fact that you did not follow the instructions for downloading and renaming HJT....there is nothing in the log that indicates malware.
   I would suggest that you go back to the software thread and follow the instructions for removing items from the start up list....esp. all the program updates that run as well as attention to the norton garbage.
