First thing - lets keep it on the topic of the biscuit, nothing else, no hijacking!!!

I'll start with mine - definitely the chocolate hobnob

 

OK....quick translation for our American buddies...a biscuit in England is the same as a cookie

Mine has to be butterscotch and chocolate chip soft butter cookies...yummmmmm.

Nice choice mcadam....excellent if you dunk them in hot java too

 

not no bake thats for sure
or anything made with oats

These are ones I like the most, Walker's Stem Ginger Biscuits followed by Walker's Shortbreads.

My favourite cookie is Godiva double-chocolate with pecans.

My favourite biscuit is from-scratch baking powder.

 

Fox's Golden Crunch Creams and Butter Crunch Crinkles, the Classics aren't bad either.


Be aware though that my idea of a good biscuit is one that is complemented by a nice cup of tea...for dunking purposes

Ahhhman....Fox's....THOSE were my fave biscuits in the UK...teh sandwiched lemon ones, but they don't make them anymore *sighs*. And yes.......I agree...a nice cup of Earl Grey to dunk and wash it down with

bourbon creams are damned nice, as are custard creams. Prefer them with milk though, not tea

Whoops! Forgot to add my cookie prefrence...I would have to say the molasses cookies I used to bake with my Grandma...they took 2 days to make b/c they had to be refrigerated for a good while before you could roll them out. Good stuff....even better memories.
