So who's enjoying Quake 4?

I sure am. Plays well @ 1600x1200 Ultra Quality 4xAA 8xAF.

So what do you guys think so far?

Judging from the countless reviews, Q3 = Q4 with better graphics and better SP experience, not my two "top of list to get a new game" reasons. On the other hand I did get AoE3, I enjoy the new strategy depths they've added to the game.

hey j-bo what are your system specs?

I am thinking about getting q4, but I am not sure how it will run.
I have a xp3000+@2.3ghz, 6600gt@525/1.1ghz,1gb ddr400.

They got my money for Doom 3, and I aint over that yet, so I am in no hurry to buy this. I expected a solid Doom remake, I got a game in pitch black hallways. Yuch. Reviewers claimed that rocked, players agree it sucked, so I dont trust reviews from gaming sites. I also have Conflict: Global Terror and Fear not installed yet to keep me from rushing to look at it.

You said it plays well, is it worth it? Short single player?

I was ready to pick it up then seen that COD2 comes out this week. Think I'll be watching their respecive board for user reviews to see who gets my money.

The single players was one of the shorter ones i have seen, but as far as quake 4 it rocks the multiplayer house.

After doom3 I didnt even look into it, what rocks about Multi? Is this funner than CoD or HL2? Or is it just deathmatch on a pretty map?

the only review sites i trust are places like [H]ardOCP and BigBruin.... I am in no rush to buy Q4 as i still havent beaten all the games i own currently.
