Has anyone ever tested a software called Golden Eye (spyware removal), and one called Cyber Scrub (Internet Privacy) www.cyberscrub.com. Please let me know. Thanks:)

I've been using CyberScrub for well over a year now. Really like the program. Talk about destroying any traces of surfing the internet, CyberScrub has it down pat. Uses the same methods for overwriting information that is used by the U.S. DOD. In fact CyberScrub has methods for destroying information that goes beyond DOD standards if you elect to use them.

Have used CyberScrub to erase free space on my HDD. I have a program that will restore deleted files. After running CyberScrub erase free space on the HDD, my restore program can't find a thing left to restore.

CyberScrub has a "Safe" where you can store files and folders you don't want anyone else to access. Strong encryption on the "Safe".

Also has a feature where you can drag and drop files/folders for complete anhilation.

CyberScrub supports IE, Firefox, Netscape, and Opera (up to version 8).

I use version 9 of Opera which CyberScrub does not support as of yet, but there is a custom wiping feature which I use to destroy all internet activity using Opera 9.

Also destroys information that is locked, such as index.dat. Will overwite locked folders and files on boot.

A good program is really of little value without good support. CyberScrub's support team has alwalys been extremely helpful - class act.

Never had a problem with the program. Doesn't go wild and erase anything that it shouldn't. Only erases what you tell it to. Once information is wiped, it's gone forever so be careful what you tell CyberScrub to wipe.

I have a friend who is a trained "expert" at pulling info. off of HDDs. I asked him to check out the free space on my HDD just to test the validity of CyberScrub. When he found out I was using CyberScrub, he didn't even bother trying.

This of course is just my opinion of CyberScrub through using the program daily, others may disagree.

Golden Eye is designed to monitor and record all the activity on your computer. With Golden Eye you can easily know how your PC is being used or what is being done on your PC. Golden Eye works like a surveillance camera pointed directly at your computer monitor, monitoring and recording anything anybody does on your computer, and storing this in a secure area for your later review.

That doesnt sound like spyware removal to me
