My father was installing a logitech webcam and its software when his firewall informed him about possible trouble. After that his cursor was locked up and he couldn't do anything. He couldn't end task or anything involving his mouse. All this happened while installing the cam program which I don't think ever finished installing. He tried to hard boot but the mouse problem persisted. So he is basically locked out of his computer. Any thoughts on a fix? He doesn't have a system restore disk.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Reboot, and keep on hitting F8 and boot into Safe Mode and then delete the webcam. That should get the 'puter back running. Not sure how to get the webcam running...
