I want to make a copy of my Microsoft Access CD so I can carry it with me when we go south for winter. I keep duplicates of all my software down there so if I have a computer failure while I'm gone I can reload it on my laptop.
What free software would recommend. Something simple and basic if possible.
    Thanks

I recommend Ashampoo Burning Studio 6 Free. You'll need to get a FREE key from Ashampoo to install the program. It's simple to use and it's what I use. I run it on Windows 7 through 10.

Thank you for the info !
The 'Ashampoo Burning Studio Free' (mdonah's) link site (download.cnet.com) indicates a 'free' version and a 'pay-for' version... "Upgrade to Ashampoo Burning Studio for $19.99" !
We could not find any comparisons at the 'ashampoo.com' site.
But at https://www.lifewire.com/best-free-burning-software-2438473, where it shows 'ratings' of several 'Free CD/DVD Burning Software' in the order as follows...
    1-CDBurnerXP (available via http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/cdburnerxp.html)
2-Ashampoo Burning Studio Free (available via http://www.majorgeeks.com/compatdb/details/ashampoo_burning_studio_6_free_windows.html)
    3-BurnAware Free
    4-Free Audio CD Burner
    5-DeepBurner Free
    6-K3b
    7-InfraRecorder
    8-WinX DVD Author
    9-DVDStyler
...it indicates that Ashampoo free is pretty complete (ie #2 in ranking).
Might there be any others worth looking at ?
Just trying to backup a W-7 install CD and some other software installer CDs.
    Thoughts ?
Ps: And from what can find, the only way to copy a CD directly with W-7 is with 'Windows Media Player' and that is probably not good for making a backup of a software install CD ?
Also, I seem to remember CDBurnierXP came with W-XP software and worked fine, but it now gets some interesting comments (about not being 'safe') on the MajorGeek download page.
And sorry for all the questions, am leaning toward Ashampoo, but am always a bit over-cautious/concerned.

    Thanks for the suggestion!
Interesting description, suggestions, and instructions for use of ImgBurn are at...

Sounds like the program works good and simple, and the only main caution is for during the installation not to end up with other 'bundled software' being installed.
Seems like a practical CD backup program, and on the MG downloads list (with decent comments).
May give it a try after a bit more 'digging'.
