Software for MP4 video: playing or converting

So I got a few episodes but they are in MP4 (ipod) format. Ive tried playing them in winamp but all I get is the audio. Does anyone know of any conversion software or at least a small video player that plays MP4 video??

BTW I dont have quicktime installed, and I hope that I dont have to install it just to view these.

There are tons of $hareware programs out there that can accomplish this task and more. Unfortunately, being shareware they are not free and generally cost somewhere between $25 and 50 dollars; depending on configuration options, etc. However you might try the freeware video converter below first; just so you can get better accustomed to using this type of utility...

yeah i dled the software, its looks pretty straight forward and simple, but you were right it doesnt support MP4 video format. Thanks anyways.

I'd have to agree with the recommendation for VLC Media Player, which is freeware found right here at MGs. This app has just about every codec you could ever want built in. Out of the box (installer), it will play just about everything you could hope for. Despite that, it is a fairly "small" program. I've had (just to test) many instances of it running all at once, each without any lag.
