Software help for Neat 5 Desktop

Can anyone tell me how to scan documents through Neat that can go directly or indirectly onto a cd or usb storage? The documents only. I have to scan in a years worth of invoices, month by month for a small company. They only want copies of the invoices saved on a cd or usb. No reports needed.
I've been going crazy trying to get help from Neat.

According to the Neat FAQs, you could scan directly to an SD card:

1. Where can I scan to?

NeatConnect can scan directly to NeatCloud, email, FTP, and other cloud services via Wi-Fi. It can also scan to an SD card, and can scan to a computer when connected via USB


but, there's no way to scan directly to a CD/DVD or Flash drive. You'd need to transfer the saved scan directories to the Flash drive or burn data discs after scanning.
