software informer

    I googled my name the other day and found that every piece of software I had installed in my computer was listed there. It was done by something called "software informer." I immediately went yo the site and found that it isn't a good thing and I don't know how I got or where it is but from what I read it uses a lot of CPU's and slows your browser down as well as the over all operation of your PC---have you heard of it and if so can I get rid of it and how----please help---Thank you MDM3673.     Software Informer is not malware. If you installed it and do not want it on your PC, then just uninstall it.
