software problem

    A friend has a software program by emnet software which can only be used when you connect a dongle to the computer, well of course that dongle doesn't work now so she can't use that software now is there away of opening that dongle and tranfering that info to harddrive to run program. This is my first posting and hope to have more questions but hope in the future to have suggestions and answers to help others.
