Software problems.

I will start out by saying I do not know entirely whats wrong.

You see the problem is that my computer skips visually a small bit probably once a second. The skip is not that noticable on desktop as it is in graphics intensive programs (IE...Games.) I opened up task manager and found that my CPU would jump from 2%-10% to 19-40% almost ritually. So I figure this has something to do with it.

Now I figure this is a software problem because...
1) I scanned for virus's. Although I dont have an AV(totally stupid of me) I downloaded stinger. It found a worm and some spyware trojans. Problem didnt cease.
2) I updates and used adware and spybot S&D, cleared out alotta junk, problem is still there.
3) Defragmented and Checked Disk (just to make sure)
4) I looked for rogue processes and ended them. Didnt stop, but i found you can collect alot of junk.

I post in Software because I dont know where the problem lies. CPU is always in the 90s on system idle process, but i always thought you had to be idle to use it.

Alu, you seriously need a good AV
-and- visit Windows Update for SP1a and all critical updates
-and- move HijackThis to a non-temp folder so you won't lose the backups it creates

Then reboot to Safe Mode and delete these files:

Wild Tangent is adware that comes with some online games, so removing it is up to you. If you choose to, fix these in HijackThis:
