Software Program For Prinnting And Scanning

I have not visited this forum for some time, but am now looking for some help with a software program for printing and scanning on a Canon TS6260 printer/scanner. I rarely use the printer/scanner, so am not keen to pay a monthly fee for a program I hardly ever use.

I have recently changed from my old desktop to my ASUS UX33IU, as my main computer. I have downloaded the Canon Inkject Smart Connect and it works, but is VERY slow to load, so I was looking for another proram to replace it. I used to use Irfanview, but it does not work on my ASUS for some reason and I guess because I have connected ASUS to Printer via Bluetooth rather than via USB cable and it may not have that capability as it is old also.

Any assistance/comments would be appreciated. Brian DJ

Is the laptop running Windows 7?

Looking at your laptop and your printer, they both have bluetooth. (I can't give you help because I have never connected a printer via bluetooth. I have one connected via wifi.)
