I am not sure if I am posting in the proper "subject" ... Tonight I was following some instructions on the READ & RUN ME FIRST before asking any questions post.. then I noticed as I got toward the bottom of the post that there were special instructions for my problem... VIRTUMONDE...
So, I downloaded that software as well & then I began to have my problem.
Earlier, I had rebooted into safe mode several times with no problems, no issues. After I downloaded the vundofix.exe file, I cannot properly boot into safe mode...
I do the F8 thing, I select my option, hit enter & then it gives me my blue dell screen to choose my user, I do that, & then it acts like it is going to boot properly and even gives me the gray warning box telling me about booting into safe mode.. well, before I can click yes, it flashes away & I am left with nothing but a black screen with safemode in all 4 corners... no programs, nothing..
WHHHHHY? Why is this happening all of a sudden... I was doing the exact same things all along... can anybody tell me how to boot up into safemode again? Or why it isn't working now? I have Windows Xp Media Center Edition, Version 2002, service pack 2...
