Software says Iam not connected to web

First I am very grateful for this site.Thanks in advance. I downloaded Sams Club picture software.After I select pictures and go to checkout it says Iam not connected to internet. Fuji who runs the site were not helpful they said it probably has to do anti virus settings,presently using Mcafee,and my active x contols.Any suggestions.
Also when I click on send receive in outlook express i have to end process mcsvnesn,..(mcafee related) to update mail. Mcafee support didnt know and they are researching it.

I just did a little research on the problem that you described, and Active X controls can cause the problem that you mentioned. As I'm not a Mcaffee user, I can't tell you exactly where to look, but there should be an options tab that enables Active X controls. If you have a paid subscription to Mcaffee then they should be able to talk you through your problem.

Failing to get any help at Mcaffee, I would suggest uninstalling the application, and running a registrey cleaner to make sure that all traces of it were eliminated, and downloading one of the free antivirus apps. from the downloads section on MajorGeeks. I prefer Avast, as it updates frequently, and in my opinion is more reliable than Norton. Other members may disagree, but post back if you have any problems!
