SolutionCenter

I loaned my laptop to my boss during a flight so that he could watch a movie. Ever since I got it back, I have had a window appear upon bootup entitled "SolutionCenter" asking for the location of the CD that contains this program. After cancelling through the prompts a few times, the windows go away for the remainder of the session. I have searched the C: drive with WExplorer for a file with this title in it to no avail. Any helpful suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

If that happened to me, I would just disable the startup item causing the message. CCleaner has, in Tools, a Startup button that lets you disable items. If you can find something called SolutionCenter or similar, you can try disabling it and see if it goes away. This may take trial and error, googling items to see what they are. Alternatively, it could be an installer issue. (For instance, a program he used didn't get fully installed because it needed restarting first, or some software screwup happened.) I might try uninstalling it if it is in the Add/Remove Program list?, or if you have an adequate System Restore point, I might try that? Not sure, so you might want to see if others have advice first...
