I am Jerry, I am NOT very proficient on Windows XP. I had a problem re-installing my Ancestry software (Family Tree Maker). So I did the stupid thing of editing my registry looking for .FTW file entries. Anyway, after apparently finding them all, I rebooted, system runs fine, no issues, but everytime I "double click" My Documents, it doesn't open. I have to "explore" it to see the files.

Help? My with and daughter use the computer and they are worse than I am, so teaching them to use the explore opetion won't sit very well. Is there a registry entry I screwed up?

Also I am still having trouble re-installing the software, but that is a different issue.
