some kinda german jack?

    hey there.. i went through your whole "do this first" bit, and ive been screwin around with hijackthis for quite a while now but i cant seem to find definitions, descriptions for some of the stuff i have on here. the one that i keep looking for is msdrvs.exe and its comming up only on pages in german. there are a few more things that pop up on the hijack log that i cant find descriptions for anywhere.. was wondering if there is a resource im missing out on ?

    Hi,
    When we can not find a exe, as in your case, we have to assume it is a random file name trojan. I would remove it. HJThotkey can be handy, though not super friendly in a one time use application:

    Theres a website that can analyze a log file, BUT, be careful and use it as a guidleline. While it works well, it is not always 100% accurate, so do not remove simply because it says to, rather look up the line in question or the dll or executable:

    In the amount of time from when i last wrote that post until now(few hours) it has been published on a page or two that this is called a "backdoor grobodor".. im trying my best to rid myself of this.. thanks again for the help..
