Some Programs Are Crashing

I am running a win 7 desktop machine.

For example Folder size 3.4.0.0 from mindgems.

 

are they the same programs that crash each time you use them?
or are random programs crashing randomly?
these are 2 separate problems.

Not sure why this is in the hardware forum - and you told us nothing about your hardware, except a desktop running W7.

What programs?

Have you scanned for malware?

How do they crash? Do they just lock up? How do you exit them when they crash?
