Some results, No audio device/HJT

Can any one please help me, I have not sound in my computer and I found this: Important: Some malware camouflage themselves as lvusbsta.sys, particularly if they are located in c:\windows or c:\windows\system32 folder. Thus check the lvusbsta.sys process on your pc whether it is pest. We recommend Security Task Manager for verifying your computer's security. It is one of the Top Download Picks of 2005 of The Washington Post and PC World.

I cannot getr rid of it, how can I know if this is good or bad?

Hi Depends exaclty where that file is found as its also part of the drivers for Logitech Webcams.

But to find out wether this and the lack of sound on your PC is malware related you will have to follow the below and attach the requested logs

Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.

Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

Make sure you also rename HijackThis.exe as suggested in the procedures. Use analyse.exe for the new name. This is very important due to some new infections going around.

When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too:

CounterSpy

AVG Antispyware log - ONLY IF NEEDED you were not able to run CounterSpy

Bitdefender - from step 6

Panda Scan - from step 6

runkeys.txt - the log from GetRunKey.bat

newfiles.txt - the log from ShowNew.bat

HijackThis

NOTE: You can only attach 3 files in a single message so it will require that you use two messages to attach all of these logs!

Good day,
First thank you for your help I had two back door trojans and they are removed thanks to your wisdom and patience to help people like me, my original problem was an unkown device in my device manager ( that is clean there now!), the problem I still have is that my control panel still shows no audio device, I have desk top, HP pavilion a720n, and I have uninstalled the drivers and re-installed them more than once, can somone please help, also I have gone inot add and remove programs and I'm getting a new error: An error (-5009: 0x8002802b) has occured shile runing set up.
Please make sure you have finished any previous setup and closed other applications...
Can you please help me one more time.

Hello, thanks again Happy new year!
I did what you asked for and I have posted my HJT report can you please review, I don't know what to do, I'm very frustrated.
Now after doing all that I was trying to remove realtek and got this message: Error (5009 : 0x8002801d) has occurred while running setup, any ideas?
Please help
