I started a thread some time ago that included some CPU temps that I was pretty happy with (read it here). Well, I did end up getting a new CPU cooler, the Arctic Cooling Freezer64 Pro. Yeah, it's an older model, but it was only $15 (brand new!) and it freekin' ROCKS!!! Most the reviews for this cooler are older and it was almost impossible to find review temps with it on a dual core Athlon. But for $15, I figured I'd give it a go. Posted below is a screen shot from CoreTemp after an hour of Everest Ultimate's CPU/FPU stability test loading both cores of my A64 X2 5400+ to 100%. I also attached 2 really bad pics of my old CPU cooler (I took 'em real quick with a web cam :-o ). It's an AMD cooler and you can see it has 4 heat pipes, and it really did a great job of keeping the temps down....

(great review of the Arctic Cooling Freezer64 Pro http://www.frostytech.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=1895 - the new ones have a white PWM fan as seen here - I have the older one featured in the review)
