Some Thing Disconnects Frequently Sound....win 7

Trying to figure out what keeps disconnects frequently.The last time i had this issue my MSI video card died.

I need to find out if it's my old video card that is making the sound.Any ideas on how to figure out what keeps disconnecting.

 

What USB devices are connected to your system. Some of these can be making the disconnection noise.

Try setting up USBDeview like this:

 

Ok guys and gals.

I have figured out why i kept getting a Dinging noise after about 10 mins or so.

What happens is the computers will put stuff to sleep.To save on power.I have figured this out through trial and error.

First thing is if you are not worried about power usage and so on.You have to set up high performance mode.This is mainly for desktops.FYI

I have found this site that tells you to un-check this option here--->>Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

Make sure you go through the list as well.I found out that it's not just the USB hubs and UBS stuff disconnecting.You have to check through the whole list for this settings if you are getting tired of hearing the dinging disconnect sound.

Works with windows 7 as well...I tried this in windows 10.
