Someone trying to steal my servers....PLease help fast!!!

I dont know much about computers. But this jackass was messing with me on yahoo messenger while i was chatting. Everyone that knew him said I was screwed now. But I took it as they were bluffing. Anyways he told me that when I log out of yahoo my servers are now his.

Is this guy being cocky or is he for real. I guess the only way Ill find out is when I logout huh? I havent logged out yet. Should I? And is their anything I can do to prevent this?

Im stuck im afraid I might be in trouble with this computer geek.

 

When you were chatting with him or in the same room,did he send you a file or a window asking you to click OK or something like that. Or may you clicked on a link to a site and it asked for your id and password. That's the lastest one,you get an IM with a link on it,you go to the link and it asks for id and password,as soon as you enter the info he's got ya. If nothing like this has happen the guy's a big BS'er,I've been in chat for 5 yrs and never heard of this one. He's Bluffing you.

PS Never click on links in Yahoo messenger in a room or from a IM,even if it's from a friend,remember this.

 

a sigh of releif. i hope you know what your talking about man. No i never clicked on anything and I never gave anything. But when he was on voice he was typing like a maniac. For awhile too. Cause I could hear it in the background. You still think he was just messing with me?

I hope your right. I appreciate your input. And you think its safe for me to logout?

One last thing. Say he does steal my servers. That means he has access to all my crap right? And thats until he doesnt want my servers anymore or what? And all my web pages will be down?

 

what if i looked at his profile?? could he get anything off of that.

 

When you went to his Profile,was it and adult one where you have to put in your id and password. Beware never give out your info,to many bad guys in yahoo.

 

I seen these guys a thousand times,they just try to mess with your head.

well man ive seen people do this all the time and i could tell they were full of crap but this almost seemed to true to not be. i didint know.
