Somethin a little weird in diskeeper

  1. Hey guys,
I was just wondering about somthing that has been going on with diskeeper scince i started running it on my computer which has windows 2000 service pack 4 installed. When i was running it on winxp on the same computer it defragmented every single file in the drive so there was absolutely no fragmentation when it was done. It is diskeeper professional version 8.0.478.0 just in case you were wondering. Anyway, ever scince i installed it on windows 2000 It leaves some files not defragmented. In other words, there is still drive fragmentation. I was just wondering what is the cause of this? Could it be that it is not compatible with windows 2000? But I doubt its a compatibility issue because it runs fine except for the fragmented files in win2k. But if anyone could tell me what is going on and if there is a possible way top fix this it would be greatly appreciated.

Use O&O V8 here and had a similar issue on myr pc,If diskeeper has an offline defrag option, try that.May help.

  3. Where do i find the offline defrag option?

  4. You think maybe i should look into diskeeper 9 home edition as this may have the problem addressed and fixed?
