Something has changed!

I am having issues with the screen; for instance open a window and unable to click to enlarge the window to full size, sometimes when i click to open Browser (FF) I get 3 opening at once. Its like there is a time lapse. Programs take ages to load up and there seems to be a problem when double clicking the mouse - adjusted settings.
Run AV, Malware and Spyware but no issues. CC registry scan and fixed usual issues.

Running Vista Home Premium SP2 Desktop, Screen is HP 2009v.

Is there something that new software could affect? I recently installed genuine Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 and Adobe Premier Elements 8.

Its like a gremlin is at work on the PC, even Internet speed has slowed to a near standstill.

I forgot to add 2 things;
When in FF, trying to click on File - Edit - Bookmarks etc, the drop down box flashes and it takes a few clicks to appear.

Specs on PC are:
AMD Phenom 8750 Triple Core Processor,4 gb ram, Nvidia GeForce GT120
Vista 64 Bit SP2

I missed this one totally, have you tried a system restore to before the Adobe stuff was added?

 

What about safe mode? Have you tried that yet?

I didn't want to do a system restore because I am still hopeful of Recuva working on that other issue

Sorted it all out, I think. After reading other members issues with similar problems, the common denominator was the Mouse So I changed my mouse and the PC is back to normal

If there is no repeat in the next 24 hours, we can safely put this one to bed
