    Hello,

From what I remember, on 02/06/20 I was applying a patch in Norton which asked for a restart. Upon restarting, Firefox requested some sort of update. When that was finished, I discovered that all of my bookmarks in Firefox had been deleted. I also discovered that the "My Documents" folder was empty! I am assuming some sort of virus. I run the following programs every Friday (Norton, Superantispyware, Spybot, Spywareblaster, CCleaner, & Malwarebytes). After running these on 02/07/20 and not noticing anything out of the ordinary, I reloaded files into "My Documents". At some point I was asked to perform another restart. Upon restart, the files in "My Documents" had been deleted again. I would like to find out what I picked up on this PC.

I just downloaded the requested malware programs to the desktop. Malwarebytes requested a restart. Upon restarting, all of the malware programs were gone from the desktop. What to do now?

Leave MBAM out for now and see if you can do the other scans and attach them. (BTW - where are you as it is 2/5 here.)

"...After running these on 02/07/20 .." That is why I asked your location. I suspected either you were in a very different time zone or something else might be wrong.

Your logs are clean. I suggest that you post in the software forum for additional assistance. :)

Do you suggest that I continue running the malware programs that I listed previously on a weekly basis?

That is up to you. Get your system back up and running properly and see if that becomes a need. :)
