Something I Heard On The News

when i woke up this morning (more like afternoon) i turned on Fox News channel and i was still half asleep but listening... it was the Fox Report i believe and Sheppard Smith was briefly mentioning stories they would be covering later in the show...

i heard something briefly about China either alluding to the use of or threatening the destruction of U.S. cities with nuclear weapons should we engage in a military conflict... now it could have just been some fanatical Chinese politician that said something but needless to say, i missed the story...

i'm guessing because i can't find it anywhere on the web that it was nothing significant but i wanted to learn (read) more... did anyone catch this particular news show or hear more about whatever it was that was being referred to?

(i don't want to start a whole "what if" thread i just want to know what that was all about and if anyone could link me to an article where i could read more)
