I don't know it it's a critter or whether it's a problem with my antivirus/antimalware, but I keep losing my Wacom tablet driver and my wireless network hardware keeps getting disabled. The only way that I can get them to work again is to reboot for my wireless and I have to uninstall and reinstall my tablet. In the past, this behavior was a indicator that some critter had infected my PC and was slowly wreaking havoc. I have gone through the Read Me First and Run scans sections, then have run my computer for almost 2 days hoping to have corrected the problem.

Hopefully, my SAS didn't cause too much problem with the scans, it turned on toward the end with an automatic scan toward the end of my sequence. Just letting you know if there was a detection that vanished. I had walked away from my computer, and SAS was in the middle of removing its findings when I came back. Sorry if that makes you pull your hair out!

Thanks for looking over my logs and letting me know if it's malware or a potentially a software problem.

Have ADWCleaner remove what it found as well as RogueKiller. Otherwise I am not seeing any malware in your logs. Reboot after cleaning and rerun both MBAM, ADWCleaner and RogueKiller and attach the new logs.

Here are the logs you requested. Both ADW and RK found nothing the first run but MBAM took out a few items.

    Big thanks!

Reboot and rerun MBAM and let's see if it comes back clean. How are things running now?

I have not rerun MBAM, but came back to report odd behavior. When I booted up this evening, I noted 2 windows that opened and ran DOS scripts. I wasn't sure if that was related to a recent windows update, so I decided to observe things for a while. Unfortunately, our cable provider has had some issues in our area and my service was spotty. In the past few hours, I was doing well with the exception that underneath my window, there were 7 different windows opened up with apparent links to videos that all had problems. I did not call up any videos that I'm aware of. I will go ahead and run MBam, and report the results later this morning. I just wanted to document my findings when they were fresh in my mind.

    Thanks again!

I didn't realize that MBam had just run on my machine. Attached is the log.

    Thank you!

Your logs are clean. Any other issues that remain should be addressed in the software forum.

Since you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Re-enable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8 or 10, it is time to make sure you have re-enabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now go to the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 or 10 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

    1. I already have an MBam subscription. It is scheduled to run daily.
    2. My instructions did not include disk emulation disahle
    3. HiJackThis not installed.
    4. UAC was not disabled. Either it is no longer in the Win 10 process, or I missed it.
    5. Done
    6. Done
    7. Will complete ASAP.

    Thanks for your help!
