Something odd can't erase !!!

In one directory i have the program MAME it's a emulator for
arcade game: C:\mame

Now i can't erase any execute (.EXE) when i try to erase it say:

This files is read only or disk drive is full or it aready in uses.

And none off it is true.

So what to do!!!

boot up into Safe Mode and try to delete the file, it should delete

 

What operating system do you have?

 

Problem solve !!!

Immaculate solve the problem in safe mode i have delete the files.

I am running Win 98SE.
