Something quirky going on with vBulletin(?)

I'm not sure, but I think this has started since the Facebook plugin implementation on the Forum pages...(I use IE 7.0 at my work PC and works fine on any other web site I visit).

Whenever I go to any MG forum and look at threads, I've noticed in particular once inside a thread, a pointer is inside the Quick Reply box ready for one to reply to the thread. This does not allow me to use the Backspace key as the shortcut to go to the previous page - I would have to either use the Alt+Left arrow method or click outside the Reply box and then I can use the Backspace Key to go back.

On other occassions, when I'm in a forum page listing the thread topics, the Backspace (or the the Alt+Left arrow) would have to be used twice in order to go back. I believe this usually happens when the page is still being refreshed/updated with the Facebook or advertisement plugins - usally a few seconds later once you go to the page. If you wait till everything is done then there's usually not a problem.

Anyone else experiencing this? Since I can't use other browsers at my work PC don't know if this is IE unique or if it occurs with other browsers - I presume these browsers also have the same shortcut method for the Back/Forward function.

I don't have that at all with Chrome.

 

Okay, it must be from my work computer. I use IE8 (though a different version) at home and it works fine.
