Is somebody working on the server or is something wrong.
Pages are very slow loading for some reason.
I know it's not my ISP. SpeedTest shows everything running as it should.

Yes somethings up, dunno what as yet, but it will likely be fixed soon, been like this all day so far for me.

Same here. I saw that Phillipp was logged in a while ago, so he was probably doing some cleanup. I usually lag some when he's working, so I'm sure it'll pass soon.

    Getting weird now.
Some of the previous posts have gone AWOL.

Agreed - I just tried to upload some BIOS pics to a Software thread, and they got thrown out, saying I'd already uploaded the pics, which I hadn't. The strange thing is, the title of the new thread is similar to an old thread in which I had uploaded those pics, which makes me believe there something going on with the SQL query protocols.

    We'll see.

If you uploaded them already, even in an old thread, then you can't upload them again. That's been in place here for a while. Cuts down on how many images they have to host.

Ah! Didn't know that - thx, Sgt. Tibbs. Makes sense.

So, I reckon I can link to that old thread in order to show the pics...doh!

If its this thread and posts going missing, its not weird at all or a conspiracy, its just me tidying up as the banter between me and Bill was not needed.

Yes can in your User CP and Attachements at the bottom, use the Attachement ID in a copy and past of that link to older hosted images, in a new thread.

Personally I tend to use imageshack and save the forum code in a text doc with a summary to what the image is for.

Back to normal. That was unusually long for the site to be so slow.

Last night (in the AM) I got 404ed a few times. Figured there was something going on, glad all is good now.
