sony bios reset

    i have just replaced video chip on my a sony VGN-FZ21E.When restarted,its now asking to enter bios password.i have never had a password set on this laptop.can anyone please help me.thx!

    Hello,
    Most late model laptops store their BIOS in firmware which cannot be cleared by software.
    I cannot confirm if this will work. Attached is jpg of a matrix to find the BIOS password. Find your serial number and copy down the last 7 digits of your serial number. Now go the the matrix and look at the far left column for your first number of the 7 digit number you wrote down. If it was a 3 as in the example, look for the first number after the number 3 which would be a 7. Next look at the second number of your 7 digit number you wrote down. If was a 4 as in the example, look for the second number after the 4 in the far left column. This would be a 4. Keep doing this for all seven numbers you wrote down.

    hi my last 7 digits serial number are 7000060 and in result i have a master password like this : 3872166 but isn't work !! the are an error? my laptop is sony vaio VPCEA26FF thanks
