Sony laptop

I bought a new laptop last year and a new router. Got everything working great then but someone had to remote me and I have forgotten my password for my router. So I redid my router gave it a new password and now I can't get my wireless lan to connect on my laptop. I go thru the wizard and it asks me for my router password, so I put in the new password and it pops up saying i have changed it. So question is How can I get my laptop connected?

 

I believe because you reset the router you have to set up the wireless portion of the router.
