sony reader transfer???

    can i transfer my ebooks from my sony reader toa kindle?

    Short answer: No, they don't want you to. Sony Readers (I have one, and love it) use the EPUB format, while Kindle uses AZW, etc. If your books are bought through the Sony Reader store, they are DRM-protected, as well (encrypted).

    Now, with that said, DRM removal is a subject you can Google for. I did a little bit of research, and some people have been successful removing DRM from Kindle books... I never looked into removing the DRM for Sony Reader books, though. I WILL tell you, that depending on how technically-minded you are, it could get kind of complicated.

    If the books are DRM-free, you CAN use Calibre (a freeware ebook management program) to convert books from one format to another. Calibre is a good program all-around, from what I see so far (I just recently started using it myself).
