Today I got linux

I dual booted SuSE on this computer. Unfortunately I have no sound and it can't detect my bluetooth keyboard, but I'll work on fixing that later. I must say that it's pretty good. Try the live eval cd first.

 

I thought that you've been using *nix for some time now...
Cool that it worked out for you.
I don't know what it is about SuSE and me. I just can't seem to get it. So many folks say great things about it.

Me. I'll be reformatting soon. Tuesday is the first day of vacation.
I've got Libranet, Slackware, Ximian coming in the mail!!!!

 

I tried getting it before, but it didn't work out so well... Right now i'm workin on making myself a knoppix cd...

 

I've tried Mandrake, Redhat and Debian.... debian was the easiest to get working out of the three, and RedHat the most difficult.

What is it with Linux and intergrated hardware?! For some bizzare reason none of my intergrated stuff (sound card, video card, network card) would work, but if i used a PCI one it works fine!

They guy reviews the Slackware 10, and says its really good. And, I just got it in the mail today.....

Also, above, I meant Xandros, not Ximian

But, I still think that a hard disk install of knoppix is the best all round that I have seen, yet...!
