Sopranos Thread (spoiler warning)

Sucked. Unless you liked watching it the past 2 years, then it might have been ok for you. Literally, my wife and I have watched it for the last 2 years waiting for it to get better. Should have ended it years ago. I remember this years countdown "thank God, 3 more episodes, end it already, thank God, 2 more episodes, end it already, thank God, the last episode, end it already and finally, thank God that crap is over. No more waiting for it to be the older Sopranos that was so damn good.

The whole finale was like watching any other episodes with a few touches here and there to try and close it, then leave you not knowing what really happens. One can assume AJ is better, Meadow gets married and life goes on and usual (Tony getting subpeoned, etc).

Rumor is a movie is coming, which explains the bad ending, but since Sopranos already has wasted my time with roughly 30 or 40 hours of bad shows (remember the "artsy" season where you didnt know what was going on?) I wont pay a DIME to see, maybe bootleg it so I feel better about it.

Odd, Deadwood was ROCKING Sopranos the last couple of years and other great shows on HBO in a different genre like Entourage have majorly entertained and made me laugh. Six Feet Under knew how to do a finale. Was hoping they would learn from it, but egos are hard to overcome. Apparently, they had a bigger "plan".

Probably early years. There is still a lot of swearing, but the problem is the show went "artsy" if you will. Its a mob show. You swear, lie, rob and whack people and eventually you get your own. Casino and Wiseguys are excellent examples of this. Instead, they got all high and mighty trying to teach us a lesson that we are mainly supposed to figure out ourselves according to all the debate over what things mean, including the finale. Many of us are saddened because we hang in there the past couple of years and now realize they either want to make a movie, or didn't care what we thought.

Ditto with CSI: Miami, big fan, the finale I was unaware was the finale until it was not on next week. But, they consistently write entertaining shows, and it returns next year, so I won't hold it over them.
