Sorry, but I got trojan horse dropper.agent.GIT

    Sorry to bug you all. I just got infected with trojan horse dropper.agent.GIT. AVG noticed it right away, however it's idea of cleaning the files is to delete them. I did restore the files to see if my programs would load back up at start up, but they do not. In my research I found I should include HJT scans. If anyone could help me with removing this trojan using ComboFix it would be greatly appreciated.

    Your not bugging us at all, we do know how stressful having malware on your PC can be, but to fully assist you we will need you to follow our guide below, the logs and running of them are specific, running the likes of Hijackthis in its default form will miss some very crucial malwares, they hide themselfs from the Hijackthis scan, which is why our guide and the running of MGTools which has Hijackthis built in gets around this issue.


    Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

    Well.... Thank you for your quick reply. I got it fixed, I reformated the whole dang thing. I tried uninstalling all the infected applications, reboot, then reinstall. For some unknown reason the computer would no longer boot, so I just mounted the drive and dumped my files.
