Sorry I haven't been posting as much here and in the help areas. Just got bogged down with some SQL issues on workstations, imaging snafus, and assorted registry permissions errors which have brought me to the brink of losing my salvation.

 

People come and people go for whatever reason. RL happens to everyone and there is absolutely no need to feel sorry.

I haven't been able to spend as much time here myself either.

But I check the forums and it seems there is always someone stepping up to help out.

 

Get of of Administration right away. Run .. run as fast as you can so you can say "Server Administration? Been there, done that, have the T-Shirt".. It's filled with idiots and paper weights and complexities that can just barely be solved with the intended functionality of the software in use; often you have to rig things up in a way not intended just to do the job you need and then what you're left with is very fragile and who knows what "patches" would break it.

I have my T-Shirt.. It says "I can't Print" on the front and on the back it says "We were supposed to be paperless, so **** off".

 

I disagree completely, I think it's absolutely unforgivable that motc7 has not been posting as much.
Mot, you should get on here and catch up, dump your RL obligations, you are a member of MG's now, there IS no RL. Stop lolligagging and step upto the plate, I'm tired of people like you dropping the ball

I totally agree...I mean my dereliction of duty almost disqualifies me from using my Ace Rimmer avatar.

Still, when you can simultaneously uninstall SQL, wipe the registry of orphaned keys and making love to Milly while covered in maple syrup while hitting the afterburners out of an exploding nebula, one could understand my preoccupation....

RL is kicking my anus right now.

Just finished an update to Zenworks, and then I goto do some imaging from Zenworks, and guess what? The update broke my imaging engine component.

good times....

 

Sorry been out again...

Grandfather died on Friday, Funeral on Monday, yesterday back to work and dealing with the avalanche of caca that comes down when you are out of the office.


Also I've been doing tech support for my wife and her new pink logitech mouse...
