Soul of solstice launcher problem

Ok, the launcher for Soul of the solstice by Outspark. Gives me this error

Error creating the Web Proxy specified in the 'system.net/defaultProxy' configuration section.

I post the problem here because, apparently all the people in the outspark forums are...computer illiterate. And other people on the forums are having problems with this too, but no solutions. I have googled the problem, but they are all for...stuff like IE and Firefox, im not having problems with IE or firefox, just this game...lol

Any ideas? thanks in advance.

Hi

What Windows version you using?

Not familiar with the game and how that error issue cropped up with it but the message you posted on the error, seems to point to a couple of things....

If using Windows XP or Vista did you install the game from the admin account and did you disable Spybot S&D if installed?

If using Vista then run the game by right clicking the shortcut and choose Run as Admin as it may not have access to specific folders.

A firewall issue, maybe if your using a software firewall its blocking this game so check in the firewalls settings or just disable it to test.

Edit: Just thought as well check your version of Microsoft .NET (can find whats installed in Add/Remove) and get lastest version if not installed already.
